- Mormons, Muslims, and New Agers, among others, claim the Bible has been corrupted, changed, contradicts itself, is racist, or translated so often that it can not be trusted. This is an easy comment to make often from those who have never read the BIble. The reality is different, however.
The Lord promised: ‘The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever” (Is. 40:8-9). Jesus said that Truth would run parallel to the devil’s lies until His return and no need for a follow up(Matt. 13:24-30, 36-43), and the Good News would be preached to the world (Matt. 28:19-20). God has made good on His prophecies and promises.
Because of erosion, the preaching work, and deterioration, copying was necessary. The source materials for the Old Testament are more than 6,000 manuscripts in different libraries around the world. The New Testament has some 5000 + manuscripts in different museums around the world. There have been 3.9 million copies of the Bible published, completely translated in over 500 languages, and in part in over 1250 languages. Some of the documents are dated a hundred years after Christ. - (Taken from Mormon Stories podcast)

"And he said unto me, Behold, the virgin "And he said unto me, Behold
which thou seest, is the mother of [ . . . ] the virgin which thou seest is the mother of (…) the Son of God,
God, after the manner of the flesh after the manner of the flesh
Key passages on Christ and God (see 1 Nephi) in the original 1830 text of the Book of Mormon were changed (one among the almost 4,000) in the 1837 edition to reflect Joseph Smith’s changing doctrine of Deity. Joseph originally taught that Jesus and the Father were the same person. If the Book of Mormon was inspired, were God and Son that mixed up as to who their mother was when Joseph Smith received the plates? They even changed doctrines. Of course Jehovah's Witnesses have made many false prophecies.
Jehovah's Witnesses have their own Bible with many fllaws . For Mormons, who claim the Bible has missing parts, should be ashamed of their updates to the supposedly inspired Book of Mormon. T
