Why Christ?
When people proclaim to possess truth, they often compare themselves to Christ, say they have added on to make His principles more attractive, twisted His sayings to suit their needs, explain they believe Him as one of the great masters but not the only one, or simply replace Him because they are contemporary and have something better. Often they except portray Him as judgemental but never as someone who preached love.
When the personality gurus speak about bettering our personality for success, never do I see the principles of love professed by Christ. Yet, the Sermon on the Mount is so respected that Ghandi was influenced for the rest of his life by its contents. The New Testament principles are based on love of God and love of neighbor that make Paul say humans add nothing to the message. Prove it to yourself.
We have put together some cheat sheets t0 enhance your reading and studying by making Christ the theme of every book. It also contains the 146 principles based on love. As we say to those we discuss with, "If you have something better, please show us!"
The beauty of Christ is the principles are based on love and when we go against them, discord is planted or someone pays the consequence. Christ lovingly gave us them for our happiness. There would be no wars, hate, violence to women, jails, or human exploitation if we followed Christ.
