Prophecy Fragments
Why believers see prophecy differently—and the lenses behind it
Most people, except theologians, theology professors, and pastors, are unaware that their beliefs and interpretations are shaped by denominational bias, tradition, organizational aims, or religious frameworks. There are many framework that prophecy experts us to explain prophecy but they all have a particular concept. There are many we look at in our discussions.
Many students accept these interpretations as Scripture without recognizing the underlying influence guiding them. This has resulted in numerous interpretations across religions, creating confusion and leading some churches to avoid in-depth prophecy teaching. Prophecies.ca believes it is possible to teach prophecy without divisions or debates if we are transparent.
It is similar to people looking at the same landscape but through different lenses:
  • One lens is blue
  • One lens is red
  • One lens is yellow
  • And one lens fragmented

The landscape remains unchanged, but everyone sees a different view. And if they only see one lens, they will argue tooth and nail that their lens is correct, after all they’ve seen the landscape.  Religious lenses work the same way and influence our beliefs, doctrines, and understanding.
