We Are Simply Christians

We choose to be known simply as Christians (Acts 11:26)—not because other labels are necessarily wrong, but because Christ is sufficient in Himself (Colossians 2:9–10).

This name is not a claim of ownership—it is a responsibility.
Christ alone grounds faith, guides obedience, and shapes identity.
(Colossians 1:17; John 15:5)

The Prophetic Blueprint
If the Bible contains prophecy, it also contains its own way of being understood—and it does.

We trace prophecy from its earliest expression in Genesis 3:15, where the promise of the “seed” is first introduced. From that point forward, Scripture develops this theme in a connected and progressive way, culminating in Christ and the completion of the New Creation.

This development arises from within the biblical narrative itself—not from an imposed system. It is the way Scripture reveals its own meaning over time.
We refer to this as the Unbroken Prophetic Line.

The Unbroken Prophetic Line
Genesis 3:15 introduces a defining pattern: a conflict between two seeds. one continuous development. Like a seed that is planted, the beginning already contains the identity of what it will become. Over time, it grows and is revealed more fully—but it does not become something different. Prophecy follows this same pattern.

From Genesis forward, Scripture consistently unfolds along this line:
  • Two lines
  • Two loyalties
  • Two outcomes
Every major prophetic theme—God’s character, His expectations, the role of His people, and the presence of His adversary—develops within this pattern.

Rather than isolated predictions, prophecy forms a coherent and continuous structure from beginning to end.

Subtractive Clarity
Instead of adding layers of interpretation, we take a different approach:
we remove what is unnecessary.
  • No imposed systems
  • No speculative timelines
  • No conclusions beyond what is written
This allows the text to speak within its own boundaries.
“Do not go beyond what is written.” — 1 Corinthians 4:6
“We do not distort the word of God.” — 2 Corinthians 4:2

Custodians, Not Editors
Our role is not to reshape prophecy, but to preserve its integrity.
We don't say what Scripture or God does not say, nor  complete what Hesupposedly forgot.
We are custodians of prophecy—not editors.

The Full Scope of Scripture
Prophecy is not understood through isolated passages, but through the full scope of Scripture.
This means:
  • No cherry-picking
  • No avoidance of difficult texts
  • No forced conclusions where none exist
Where Scripture is clear, we follow.
Where it is not, we acknowledge the limit.

Why This Matters
  • It guards against dogmatic or controlling interpretations
  • It builds discernment rather than dependence
  • It keeps the focus on faithfulness, not speculation
  • It allows Scripture to define its own meaning
What This Site OffersA return to a simpler approach:
  • Let Scripture speak first
  • Identify added assumptions
  • Compare interpretations openly
  • Distinguish text from interpretation
Not to remove depth—but to remove noise.

A Final Thought
Prophecy is given to reveal God’s purpose, call for faithfulness, and develop understanding over time.
The same God who made the promise ensures its fulfillment—along an unbroken line.
