TEACHING CHRIST TO SPECIAL PEOPLE, IN A SPECIAL TIME, with a special approach

Counterfeit religion, cults, and atheistic philosophies are a serious, deadly business

Programs such as Deadly Devotion, Extreme Cults, Brainwashed,  and Escaping Polygamy, among others, highlight how the imposters come to steal, kill, and destroy just as Jesus said (Jn. 10:.10). On the one hand, people more than ever are leaving false religion and cults because of the Internet. On the other hand, humanity has become an atheistic society in a time marked by the Bible and prophesied about for two thousand years.

The mission is to help people who have been spiritually disappointed by dogmatic and legalistic churches, deceived by atheistic philisophies, or deserted by their church and family because of their stand on conscience.

the two-pronged approach to truth--prophecy and christ

Christ is always the target

When someone says they have truth, it is always about Christ , against Christ, compared to Christ, or mocking Christ. All Christian cults use Christ’s name. However when looking for truth and lies, Christ was and is the target of false prophets, slanderers, cults, atheists, philosophers, and false religion.  Christ is the strength of truth and the Achilles Heal of cults and atheists.

For example, if we look at the prophecy at Gen. 3:15 which is the key to Bible understanding we realize it took 4,000 years, 27+ writers, over 16 centuries (no collaboration possible), 929 chapters. 23,214 verses, and roughly 622,700 words to pen 300 prophecies identifying Christ. God wanted us to be 100% sure who Christ was.

Professors Peter W. Soner and Dr. Robert C. Newman calculated the statistical probability of one person fulfilling just 48 detailed prophecies. It is  i in 10,000,  000,000, 000,000, 000,000,000, 000,000,000, 000,000, 000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000 ,000,000, 000,000  ,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000.

Below are only twenty-one of the hundreds of prophecies on Jesus and of the THOUSANDS in the Bible.

  1. He would come to us as a human (Gen. 3:15 3800 BC)
  2. Descendant of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob from Judah (Gen. 22:18, 49:10 3800 BC)
  3. Born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2 800 BC)
  4. Be born of a virgin (Is. 7:14 750 BC)
  5. Ministry preceded by a forerunner (Is.40:3,4 750 BC)
  6. Be a light to the Gentiles but called a Nazarene (Is. 9:1.2 750 BC)
  7. Confirmed by signs, wonders and miracles (Is. 35:4-6 750 BC)
  8. Humble and meek (Is. 42:2-3 740 BC)
  9. Teach in parables (18: 1-2)
  10. Called Son of God by followers (Is 9:6-7 750 BC)
  11. But despised by those who opposed Him (Ps. 2:1-2)
  12. Called out of Egypt (Jer. 31:15 630 BC)
  13. Ride into Jerusalem on a donkey (Zech. 9:9 520 BC)
  14. In His three-day trial Jesus fulfilled over 30 prophecies such as hated without reason (Ps.35:19)
  15. Silent before accusers (Is 53:7 750 BC)
  16. Abandoned by disciples (Ps. 22:1)
  17. Hang on a cross between two thieves but not a bone broken (Ps 22:16-18, 34:20)
  18. Sold for 30 pieces of silver (Zech. 11:13 520 BC)
  19. Beaten, spat on (Is. 50:6-7 750 BC)
  20. Buried in a rich man’s tomb (Is. 53:9 750 BC)
  21. Resurrected after three days

Would you NOT EXPECT Christ replacements such as the Watchtower’s Faithful Slave, the Mormon’s Joseph Smith and Brigham Young, Christian Science’s Mary Eddy Baker, the Moonies’ Reverend Moon, the Pope, and the others to have as many prophecies and identification marks as Christ especially if they  contradict His teachings? Would you not expect more than, “You are Peter and on this rock I build my church” that the Catholics use (and cults use similar one or two versers for their leaders) to give the Popes or gurus authority to change whatever beliefs they want? Do you find hundreds of verifiable prophecies about the atheistic gurus and new prophets’ deaths, lives, births, as complete as Jesus? Are their beliefs on love and justice any comparison to Christ's. If I am going to follow a prophet or spiritual leader, the person should have as many provable credentials as Jesus wouldn’t you think? It is never so! And there are things that cults and gurus cannot do without error--prophesy

But Jesus added to these prophecies and some still not accomplished

Prophecy expert John F. Walvood’s book Every Prophecy in the Bible describes in more than 600 pages the prophecies and their fulfillment. Some have yet to be accomplished (Matt. 24, Revelation 6, the man of lawlessness in 2 Thess. 2).  If man had corrupted the Bible, some prophecies would not be accomplished and principles would contradict themselves.  Jesus makes personal promises to us by way of prophecy (Sermon on the Mount Matt. 5-7) among others. The Bible has left us with verifiable people, places, and cities that archeology confirms. The Book of Mormon for example gives us no answers archaeologically. Jesus, however, said that the rocks would cry out in if need be and archeological studies of the Bible do cry out (Lu. 19:40).

There is enough biblical history (for example the Hittite people found only in th,e Bible but did exist) and science (in 800 BC Isaiah wrote that the world was round and Leviticus speaks about cleanliness and bacteria before microscopes and laboratories) to help atheists, agnostics, and humanists believe in the God and the Bible.  Prophecy shows that the God of the Bible is alive and in control. Man cannot predict the future with 100 per cent accuracy. If it were man’s word and corrupted, We would find errors in prophecy as with Nostradamus, Jehovah's Witnesses, and the LDS.

"And he said unto me, Behold, the virgin                                "And he said unto me, Behold
which thou seest, is the mother of [ . . . ]                                 the virgin which thou seest is the mother of (…) the Son of God,
God, after the manner of the flesh                                           after the manner of the flesh

Key passages on Christ and God (see 1 Nephi) in the original 1830 text of the Book of Mormon were changed (one among the almost 4,000) in the 1837 edition to reflect Joseph Smith’s changing doctrine of Deity. Joseph originally taught that Jesus and the Father were the same person. If the Book of Mormon was inspired, were God and Son that mixed up as to who their mother was when Joseph Smith received the plates?  They even changed doctrines. Of course Jehovah's Witnesses have made many false prophecies.

Jehovah's Witnesses have their own Bible with many fllaws . For Mormons, who claim the Bible has missing parts, should be ashamed of their updates to the supposedly inspired Book of Mormon. T
