Why Prophecy?
Bible Prophecy: Promises to the World
Bible prophecy concerns all humanity and will affect everyone who has ever lived. For this reason, understanding how, where, when, and to whom prophecy applies are essential.
From the beginning, prophecy was given to bring hope and warn against imposters. Through it, God reveals His character, makes personal promises, outlines the course of nations, confirms His purposes have not changed, and assures us of eventual justice and peace. In the meantime, prophecy anchors and transforms lives.
Prophecy is like a completed puzzle: once the full picture is clear—who God is, what He desires, His promises, and what lies ahead—anything that does not fit becomes easier to recognize.
Why Prophecy?
Prophecy addresses questions no human philosophy or quality can fully answer: Why are we here? Where are we going? What happens at death? Will humanity ever know lasting peace? Who has the right to govern? What is the true spiritual conflict behind history? How can false prophets be identified? And ultimately, is there truth?
Bible prophecy has shaped faith for thousands of years, yet it remains one of the most misunderstood areas of Scripture. Too often it is sensationalized, selectively interpreted, or used to defend long-held traditions. This work is guided by a simple conviction: to teach what is clear, clearly, and to present what is not with honesty and humility.
God invites us to test all things, including prophecy (1 Thessalonians 5:21). By studying the prophecies, comparing interpretations, and applying biblical criteria, false claims are exposed and faith is grounded in evidence.
Scope and Approach
This guide explores prophecy from Genesis to Revelation through major prophetic themes. It does not impose a system or predetermined interpretation. Instead, it presents Scripture and existing views honestly, allowing readers to decide according to conscience.
Many lessons include simple, one-page fingertip guides using Bible texts only, designed for personal study and small-group discussion. The material is written clearly and concisely so the principles can be understood by readers of all ages.
Our purpose is not to promote a system, but to present the facts so readers can think, question, and reach their own conclusions—without sensationalism or hidden agendas. As Scripture counsels, we seek not to go beyond what is written (1 Corinthians 4:6).
May God bless all your spiritual endeavours.
